Dedicated to Goddess Isis, this island sanctuary is a masterpiece of Ptolemaic architecture, with majestic columns and serene courtyards. The temple’s relocation by UNESCO during the construction of the High Dam only adds to its historic significance.

Return to your Nile cruise for lunch and enjoy the rest of your afternoon at leisure. You may opt for a relaxing felucca ride along the Nile, gliding gently past the botanical gardens and the Mausoleum of Aga Khan.

In the evening, the spirit of Aswan comes alive on board with a Nubian Folkloric Show — a vibrant display of traditional music, dance, and colorful costumes that reflect the rich cultural heritage of southern Egypt.

The temples were carefully relocated in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of the Nile following the construction of the High Dam, a feat of modern engineering and international cooperation.
