Explore its symmetrical halls, healing carvings, and visit the Crocodile Museum, home to dozens of mummified sacred reptiles.
Continue cruising north to the town of Edfu, where you’ll ride by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. Towering columns, vivid reliefs, and ceremonial courtyards transport you back to the height of the Ptolemaic era.

Continue to the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, a symbol of her power and architectural innovation. On your way back, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that once marked the entrance to a grand mortuary temple.
